The first flight from Lijiang (China) landed in Hai Phong

Today (June 15), the first flight carrying 162 passengers departing from Lijiang (China) just landed at Cat Bi International Airport, Hai Phong City.

Mr. Le Khac Nam - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee, along with representatives of some city departments and branches, presented flowers to congratulate the passengers on this first flight.

Previously, at the working session on June 7, Mr. Ho Trieu Thu - General Director of Yunnan Tongdian Air Travel Company, informed that the company operates 3 flights from Hai Phong to Lijiang, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays every week, from June 15, 2024 to June 14, 2025.

The company hopes that Hai Phong city will support funding to open a new flight route according to regulations, and at the same time support propaganda about the opening of this flight route from June 15, in addition to strengthening connections between businesses to develop the tourism route between Lijiang and Hai Phong.

Mr. Le Khac Nam - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee, said that opening new flight routes to and from Cat Bi International Airport from foreign localities is the City's policy, which is important for economic , trade and tourism development.

The official launch of the Hai Phong - Lijiang flight route not only contributes to promoting the common development of the two localities, enhancing mutual understanding, but also meets the needs of trade exchange between the two sides, as well as the travel of people and investors from China.

Hai Phong City will study appropriate policy mechanisms to create maximum support for businesses operating and exploiting flight routes .
