Pursuant to Plan No. 03-KH/DU dated April 26, 2025 of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology on organizing party congresses at all levels in the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress, on June 25, 2025, with the consent of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology , the Party Cell of the Postal Department held the Party Cell Congress for the 2025-2027 term.
Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Dinh Duc Thien, Chief of the Office of the Party Committee of the Ministry and all party members in the Party Cell of the Postal Department. The Congress took place in a democratic, united, serious atmosphere, fully implementing the contents according to regulations.
The Congress comprehensively assessed the results of the implementation of the Resolution for the 2022-2025 term, in which some of the main results include: (1) The Party Cell continues to focus on Party building work in terms of politics, ideology, organization and ethics. The Party members have a strong political stance, uphold the sense of responsibility and are exemplary in performing their tasks; (2) The work of inspection, supervision, internal political protection, anti-corruption and negativity is carried out seriously; (3) The leadership of mass organizations, mass mobilization work and implementation of democracy at the grassroots level continue to be strengthened; (4) The Party Cell has successfully completed the tasks assigned by the Ministry's leaders, and performed well the state management of postal services.
In the upcoming 2025-2027 term, the Party Cell of the Postal Department will focus on implementing a number of key tasks, including: Perfecting postal institutions, specifically submitting to the National Assembly for promulgation of the Postal Law (amended); Amending, supplementing, and updating the Postal Development Strategy to 2025, with a vision to 2030, and implementing it in the 2026-2030 period; Promoting the role of public postal services; Promoting administrative reform, promoting the role of a bridge between the state and businesses in the postal sector.
The Congress had a heated discussion, 100% of party members attending the Congress voted unanimously to pass the Resolution of the Party Cell Congress for the 2025-2027 term.
The Congress elected Mr. La Hoang Trung, Director of the Postal Department, to hold the position of Party Cell Secretary.
With a spirit of democracy, responsibility and high unity, the Party Congress of the Postal Department for the 2025-2027 term was a great success, contributing to consolidating a clean and strong Party organization, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation./.
