Long Thuan Ward: Launching Green Sunday

(ABO) Towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the peak month of "Volunteers remember the source of water when drinking, participating in ensuring social security", on July 21, the Youth Union of Long Thuan ward, Dong Thap province organized the 4th Green Sunday peak campaign in 2025, with the slogan "Youth volunteers, volunteering for the community, repaying gratitude". The activity attracted over 50 union members, youth, and volunteers to participate.

At the Go Cong Martyrs Temple, members and youths burned incense to commemorate the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of protecting the country. At the same time, they cleaned, weeded, and picked up trash in the temple grounds; participated in pruning trees and picking up trash on Luu Thi Dung Street with a length of 1 km.

In the series of activities "Drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude" on the occasion of July 27 this year, the Youth Union of Long Thuan ward also coordinated to visit and give gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, wounded soldiers, and people with revolutionary contributions in the ward.

At the same time, it demonstrates the pioneering spirit of the youth in participating in protecting the environment, creating a green, clean and beautiful landscape.
