Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu visited and presented gifts to meritorious people in Da Nang City

On July 21, Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, and the working delegation visited policy beneficiaries and meritorious people in Da Nang City on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Accordingly, the delegation visited the Center for Caring for People with Revolutionary Contributions, Da Nang City, Facility 2.

Here, comrade Tran Cam Tu presented 88 gifts and sent his warm regards and deep gratitude to the wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, policy families, people with meritorious services to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, and all leaders and staff of the center. The Standing member of the Secretariat said that the Party, State and people always consistently hold the view that "people with revolutionary contributions are precious assets of the nation".

The Standing Secretariat requested the Party Committee, government and mass organizations of Da Nang City to focus on thoroughly grasping and effectively implementing the Party and State's policies on social security and welfare for meritorious people and their relatives in the coming time, ensuring that they are consistent with the development practices of the locality and the country. The Center's collective strives, unites, and strives to overcome all difficulties, and continues to provide better care for meritorious people being cared for at the Center.

The Center for Caring for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution in Da Nang City has two facilities in Ngu Hanh Son Ward and Hoi An Tay Ward. It is currently caring for, nurturing, and treating 88 people with meritorious services (facility 1 has 45 people with meritorious services) and facility 2 (43 people with meritorious services).

Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Mai Thi Say (residing in Ngu Hanh Son ward). Mother Say has 6 children, including 2 children Tran Van Ta and Tran Van Bon who are martyrs. She was awarded the title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother by the State in 2014. Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and the delegation kindly asked about her health, daily activities and encouraged her spirit, hoping that she would live happily and healthily, always be a shining example for her children and future generations to follow.

Earlier, on the same morning, the delegation offered incense at the Monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Quang Phu ward.
