The Press Department requests comments on adjusting the set of indicators measuring the maturity level of digital transformation in the press.

The Press Department, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just sent a document to a number of units and press agencies asking for opinions on adjusting the set of indicators measuring the maturity level of digital transformation of the press.

Accordingly, to carry out the assigned tasks in Decision No. 348/QD-TTg dated April 6, 2023 of the Prime Minister on approving the "Strategy for Digital Transformation of Journalism to 2025, with a vision to 2030", the Ministry of Information and Communications (now the Ministry of Science and Technology) issued Decision No. 1827/QD-BTTTT dated October 24, 2024 on the set of indicators to assess and measure the maturity level of digital transformation of journalism.

Based on the actual situation of transferring the status quo of press, radio and television activities from the Ministry of Information and Communications (old) to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; based on the results of the implementation of assessment, measurement of the maturity level of digital transformation of press and announcement of assessment results in 2023 and 2024. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Press Department to update the Index to more closely assess the reality of digital transformation of press in 2025.

The Press Department requests agencies to give their opinions on updating, adjusting, and adding new (if any) criteria to assess the maturity level of digital transformation of the press.
