Many press agencies, especially magazines and local newspapers, are slow to convert to digital for many different reasons, the most difficult of which are technical infrastructure, finance and human resources.
Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, spoke at the conference. Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association emphasized: 4-5 years ago, we were just talking about digital transformation, about artificial intelligence but few press agencies were interested, now everything has become popular. Any newspaper that is not prepared in terms of people, infrastructure, and mechanisms has fallen behind, while many newspapers have made breakthroughs. Evidence of the application of AI technology in the production of press works from major newspapers around the world will be a great help to journalists. However, the application of AI in any stage of the press production process must be considered and controlled to avoid risks.
He emphasized that the application of AI should also be applied to print journalism so that this traditional product can continue to be cherished. Press agencies need to have a mindset for press products, constantly create unique products, promote the image of press products; create interaction and experience for readers and spread the brand of the press agency...
At the conference, the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center awarded the rotating flag to Lao Cai Newspaper - the host of the 24th Conference of Party Newspapers of the Northern Midlands and Mountains in 2025.
