Applying innovative technology in teaching and learning, improving the quality and effectiveness of educational management; building an open and adaptive education system on a digital platform, that is the task that the Education and Training sector is striving to implement in digital transformation, contributing to human resource development, promoting socio -economic development.

Implementing Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU dated August 31, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on digital transformation of the province in the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030, the Department of Education and Training has established a steering committee; arranged specialized staff in charge of information technology; focused on digital transformation in terms of technology application in the classroom, education management and teaching methods. Organized provincial, district, school cluster and school-level seminars on digital transformation implementation.

Currently, the Department of Education and Training has deployed electronic office management software ( VNPT -ioffice) connecting the Departments of Education and Training with the Department of Education and Training and agencies, departments and branches of the province, serving the exchange of information, directive documents, and management and operation in the network environment. Promote the application of IT in educational quality assessment by managing online declarations; using electronic transcripts through the SMAS and VNEDU systems; 100% of high schools use electronic transcripts. In particular, the Department effectively applies the provincial initiative "Building IMS - Integrated Management System QMS ISO 9001:2015 and EOMS ISO 21001:2018 to improve the quality of educational management at the unit" which has been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee and granted a certificate of effective application, the scope of influence of the initiative across the province and the country.

Implementing digital transformation, managers and teachers in the whole industry have promoted the application of information technology in teaching. Lectures from electronic lesson plans, projectors, smart classrooms, vivid video images in subjects such as math, biology, chemistry, history, geography, civic education... have created attraction and multi-dimensional thinking about a problem for both teachers and students. Currently, 100% of high schools; 82% of middle schools, primary and secondary schools; 87% of primary schools are equipped with computer classrooms with internet connection for teaching and learning. 100% of high schools, continuing education centers, and ethnic boarding schools regularly organize conferences and seminars online, are granted digital signatures, and make cashless payments...

In addition, the industry has established a working group to advise on building a smart classroom model; selected Son La Specialized High School and To Hieu High School, the City to pilot the model. In particular, each classroom has 1 laptop for teachers; Wifi system, two-way surveillance camera; interactive board; tablet for students; Smart Edu smart education solution software. In addition, the City has also deployed the model at Nguyen Trai Secondary School; Moc Chau, Song Ma, Phu Yen districts have learned from experience and developed an implementation plan.

Currently, 100% of the administrative reform procedures of the Department of Education and Training are updated and publicly posted on the industry's electronic information page and the provincial public service portal. The process of handling administrative procedures is digitized and publicly updated on the provincial public service portal. Thanks to that, all administrative transactions are guaranteed to be in accordance with the process, regulations, and time schedule. Since the beginning of the year, the Department of Education and Training has received 212 dossiers, of which 100% have been resolved.
