Embryo transfer for 4 infertile cases

After nearly 1 month of being recognized by the Ministry of Health to perform in vitro fertilization (IVF) techniques, with the support of Hai Phong Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Lao Cai Provincial Reproductive Support Center, under the Provincial Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, has received infertility treatment for 23 cases.

Of the 23 cases of infertility treatment at the Center, 4 cases have undergone embryo transfer.

This is the final important step of the IVF process after ovarian stimulation; ovarian ultrasound; egg retrieval; embryo creation.

After 12 - 14 days of embryo transfer into the uterus, the mother will have a blood test to measure the concentration of beta hCG hormone to know exactly the implantation process and determine whether she is pregnant or not.

In addition to modern, synchronous and advanced facilities, equipment and machinery, the Provincial Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital has received support and transfer of in vitro fertilization (IVF) techniques from Hai Phong Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital through training and hands-on instruction on specific cases. Thereby, helping the doctors and technicians of the Hospital to skillfully perform the procedures and techniques, meeting the expectations of infertile patients in the province in their journey of "finding children" with the best living conditions, medical examination and treatment at reasonable costs.
