The Bac Lieu charity bus departs for the people of Yen Bai

On the morning of September 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Lieu province coordinated with provincial departments and organizations to transport goods and essential necessities onto container trucks heading to Yen Bai province.

With the spirit of "mutual love", together with people across the country, through the call for mobilization from all levels and sectors, Bac Lieu people have contributed and joined hands to share with compatriots affected by storm No. 3 through many meaningful activities.

In addition to cash support, Bac Lieu people also contributed goods, essential necessities, medicines, etc. to share and support people in provinces and cities affected by storms and floods to overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Lieu province Tran Van Ut said that after the province organized the launching ceremony, the association and the provincial departments and organizations mobilized more than 20 tons of goods and essential necessities, such as: rice, salt, dried fish, dried shrimp, household rubber products, new clothes, ... organized trips to transport to support people affected by storms and floods in Yen Bai province.

After this trip, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, together with the departments and organizations of the province, continued to mobilize to organize more trips carrying love to the people of other provinces and cities affected by this storm and flood.

In addition, advising the provincial leaders to successfully organize a fundraising ceremony to support people affected by storm No. 3. As a result, at the ceremony, 19 units registered to donate with a total amount of more than 1.7 billion VND; organizations and individuals attending the ceremony donated cash of more than 66 million VND.

The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee proposed that the Provincial Party Committee continue to allocate 4.5 billion VND from the Provincial Relief Fund managed by the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front to support the people. Of which, 1 billion VND will be sent to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee to support 7 provinces that suffered heavy damage due to storm No. 3 and floods caused by the storm circulation, including Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Bac Giang , and Tuyen Quang provinces, each with 500 million VND to help the people of the provinces quickly recover.

Two volunteer buses filled with love and affection from the people of Bac Lieu province are heading north to send to people in flood-hit areas.

According to the report of the Fatherland Front of districts, towns, cities, organizations, individuals and benefactors in the province have organized many 0-dong trucks to transport over 100 tons of goods including: rice, salt, dried goods, mineral water, necessities (salt, rice, noodles, milk...), mosquito nets, blankets, towels, clothes,... to directly support people in the Northern provinces affected by storm No. 3 and floods caused by the storm's circulation.
