Ho Chi Minh City Police Club's opening day at Thong Nhat Stadium
Ho Chi Minh City Police Club had a perfect opening day in V-League 2025 - 2026, when defeating the runner-up Hanoi with a score of 2-1. Two goals by Tien Linh and Huy Toan gave coach Le Huynh Duc's team a big advantage in the first half.
Although in the second half of the match, the home team had to defend against the suffocating pressure of Hanoi FC, especially after Van Tung scored to shorten the score, Ho Chi Minh City Police FC still protected the gap to start the V-League with a victory.
