On January 21, sharing with Tuoi Tre Online , Ms. Vu Mac Khue Tram, an art teacher at Nguyen Van Troi Secondary School (Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen ), said that she had just completed the mascot of the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025 on the school's chalkboard.
No stranger, Ms. Tram is the owner of the work of the dragon mascot of the year of the Dragon 2024 drawn on a chalkboard that caused a stir in the online community during Tet that year.
Ms. Tram said that the snake mascot was drawn on a chalkboard in the council room of Nguyen Van Troi Secondary School and was completed in two days.
Talking about the idea for this year's snake mascot, Ms. Tram said that she referenced the head of the mascot from snake images on the internet and then "transformed" it to make the animal more approachable, reducing the inherent ferocity of this species.
"Most of the time I see people drawing cobra mascots that look a bit fierce, so I think a snake mascot like this will be suitable for aneducational environment and friendly to students," said Ms. Tram.
Ms. Tram also "revealed" an interesting thing that many teachers at Nguyen Van Troi Secondary School... are afraid of snakes, so they all wanted her to draw a "gentle" snake mascot for a souvenir photo.
“The main colors of the snake mascot are blue and white. Behind the mascot, I draw rolling hills. In the empty areas, I will draw spring motifs such as lanterns and firecrackers,” said Ms. Tram.
As soon as it appeared on social networks, Ms. Tram's drawing of a snake mascot on a chalkboard received many compliments from the online community such as: "So beautiful", "So beautiful, Tram", "The mascot looks very soulful..."...
