An opportunity to understand your child.

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - June, when schools begin closing for summer vacation, is also the time for complaints. On social media, many people have used the phrase "The summer vacation group is marching home with so much worry" to describe how children staying home during summer vacation disrupts order in many families, forcing adults to struggle to cope.

An opportunity to understand your child.

Many people on social media also expressed their frustration, saying that spouses have to take turns taking time off. Some couldn't even take a full day off, so they cut corners, going to work early in the morning while their children were still asleep, and then having to come up with all sorts of excuses to sneak home halfway through the day.

Many parents say that their children's summer holidays are a "struggle" between responsibility, worries, and the helplessness of being a parent. In reality, many want to send their children back to their hometowns, but they are afraid of rivers, lakes, and other dangers. Drowning accidents and injuries during the summer have increased dramatically recently. These conflicts and dilemmas leave many unable to find a solution. While practical solutions like sending children to life skills, art, or sports classes are helpful, not all families can afford them.

Summer vacation is the most anticipated time of the year for students, but conversely, it's also the peak season for many parents who have to "babysit." Complaints, irritability, and even lies to superiors and colleagues to cut down on time are common, but adults have to make sacrifices for the future of the next generation.

Some parents say that going through the hardships and difficulties of childcare during the summer holidays brings happiness, making them realize most clearly the responsibility and love of being a parent for their children. Some parents even realize that summer is the best time to spend more time with their children.

Throughout the school year, children are caught up in a cycle of studying and exams, a race for achievement. From classroom lessons to extra classes and study groups... The children are exhausted and immediately go to bed upon returning home. Many parents cannot fully understand their children's studies, daily lives, and psychological and physiological development. They can only provide for their children's material needs. But children at this crucial age need more than that. Therefore, take advantage of the summer break to be closer to your children and understand them better. It's hard work, and many people face difficulties in handling their work, but overcoming the inconvenience brings happiness.

This year's Month of Action for Children, taking place from June 1st to 30th with the theme "Prioritizing resources to achieve goals for children," delivers a powerful message about responsibility and love for children; it is an opportunity for all levels of government, organizations, and society as a whole to reflect, evaluate, and further promote the realization of children's rights. Instead of complaining, let's open our hearts more for children, so that we can truly see how "children cry and laugh" today, rather than having to see them cry in the future because of the irresponsibility of parents today.
