With a scale of top 10 in the world, integrating an ecosystem of organizing international events, exhibitions, and conferences, this place is expected to welcome 60 million visitors each year, promising to create a billion-dollar Expo economy for Vietnam.
New symbol of prosperity on the sacred land
For over 2,000 years, Dong Anh in general and the land of Co Loa in particular have been known as a symbol of the heroic history of building and defending the country. Since the 3rd century BC, this place was chosen as the capital of Au Lac. This area is also associated with the legend of An Duong Vuong who was shown by the Golden Turtle God how to build Co Loa citadel.
In the spring of 939, after defeating the Southern Han army on the Bach Dang River, Ngo Quyen proclaimed himself king, established the Ngo Dynasty, and chose Co Loa as the capital with the meaning of continuing the nation-building work of the Hung Kings and An Duong Vuong, completely ending the period of Chinese domination that lasted more than 1,000 years, opening an era of development of an independent and autonomous nation.
Symbol after symbol, today on the heroic land of the nation, the Vietnam Exhibition Center is built with the stature of the largest exhibition complex in Southeast Asia and the 10th largest in the world with an architecture that blends history and time. The project has a total area of 90 hectares, located on Tu Lien bridge (Dong Anh, Hanoi), is expected to become a destination for political - economic - cultural - tourism events at national and international levels.

The complex includes many categories, indoor exhibition areas, outdoor exhibition areas and a series of auxiliary works. Kim Quy Exhibition House - the largest circular exhibition house in the world is a symbolic architecture, recreating one of the four sacred animals of the East and associated with the legend of the Kim Quy god of the sacred land of Co Loa.
Modern architecture, open exhibition space and spacious green landscape create an impressive contrast with the land that once bore the marks of ancient ramparts. VEC also arranges many specialized functional zones, meeting diverse and in-depth needs, typically a VinPalace Convention Center, two permanent exhibition centers (blocks A and B), a complex of 5-star international hotels, class A offices along with 5 parking lots with an area of over 170,000m².

VEC is expected to welcome 60 million visitors each year, creating a billion-dollar Expo economy for Vietnam.
Meeting point attracting global MICE guests
Vietnam Exhibition Center is positioned as the first Expo city in Vietnam. This model meets a variety of needs including exhibitions, high-level conferences, state and international events, entertainment services, music festivals... In addition, residents and tourists can comfortably enjoy cuisine, explore, shop and entertain in the same complex.

With a strategic location just 15 minutes from Noi Bai airport, blocking the connection route from Gia Binh airport (Bac Ninh) to the center of Hanoi and just 5 minutes from Tay Ho area after Tu Lien bridge is completed, VEC can become a new meeting point for global MICE visitors, up to 60 million people/year. This is also a group with spending 2-3 times higher than regular tourists.

Previously, there were many exhibition areas in the world that became catalysts for tourism and trade, contributing to the development of the host country. According to BIE, Expo 2000 (Hannover, Germany, 160ha) attracted 18 million visitors, earning about 12 billion Euros, placing Germany at the center of the European exhibition map in the early 21st century, and greatly upgrading the transport infrastructure.
Expo 2010 (Shanghai, China, 523ha) welcomed more than 73 million visitors, creating a turning point for infrastructure - airport, metro, commercial development, contributing to a 13% increase in tourism revenue during Lunar New Year.

VEC also arranges many specialized functional zones to meet diverse needs, typically a VinPalace Conference Center.
Meanwhile, Expo 2015 (Milan, Italy, 110 hectares) with 21 million visitors, boosted Italy's GDP by 31.6 billion Euros in the 2012-2020 period. Expo 2020 (Dubai, UAE, 438 hectares) attracted nearly 24 million visitors, estimated to bring nearly 33 billion USD in added value to the UAE economy in the 2013-2031 period, equivalent to about 50,000 full-time jobs per year.
With a scale in the top 10 of the world and convenient infrastructure connecting to 2 international airports and located right next to the center of Hanoi, Vietnam Exhibition Center is expected to be able to reach the milestone of the current prominent global Expos.
Not only is it a valuable project in terms of planning and space organization, it is also positioned as a cultural and commercial complex of great significance, worthy of the region and the world, a symbol of the spirit of innovation, development and aspiration of Vietnam in the new era.
