Implementing the resolution achieved comprehensive results

Right from the beginning of the term, the Commune Party Committee focused on building and rectifying a strong Party in terms of politics , ideology, ethics and organization. Political and ideological education was widely deployed to help cadres and Party members; studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style was carried out seriously, associated with the responsibility of setting an example of leaders, spreading into a widespread movement.

The organizational structure is consolidated, the quality of Party cell activities is improved. Personnel work ensures procedures and standards; focuses on training, fostering, and promoting the role of leaders. The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations innovate the content and methods of operation, promote the great national unity bloc, and mobilize people to actively participate in increasingly widespread and effective patriotic emulation movements.

The local economy maintains a stable growth rate. The economic structure has shifted towards a gradual reduction in the proportion of agriculture, increasing the proportion of industry, handicrafts and services. Agricultural production has been restructured towards sustainability, responding to climate change. Many livestock models have promoted high economic value. Industry and handicrafts have developed in a variety of ways such as food processing, products from coconut, sedge, water hyacinth weaving, sedge core spinning, garment processing... creating jobs for hundreds of local workers.

Thanks to the mobilization of many resources, the infrastructure system has been invested synchronously. Intra-field canals have been dredged regularly, ensuring irrigation; the electricity network meets production and daily needs; the rate of households using clean water has increased year by year. The national target program on new rural construction has been effectively implemented, contributing to changing the appearance of the countryside: village roads and alleys are spacious, houses are solid, the landscape and environment are increasingly bright, green, clean and beautiful. Many new production models have been formed, people's lives have been improved.

The movement of “All people unite to build a cultural life” associated with building new rural areas and civilized urban areas continues to be maintained and improved in quality. Social security is ensured; policies for people with meritorious services, policy families, poor households, and vulnerable groups are fully implemented. Sustainable poverty reduction is focused on, associated with job creation and labor export. Political security and social order and safety are always stable; the movement of all people to protect national security develops strongly, especially the self-management and self-defense model in hamlets, contributing to reducing crime and social evils.

Promoting revolutionary traditions, solidarity, innovation and creativity, in the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the commune sets the goal of building Nhi Long into a commune with fast and sustainable development, successfully building an advanced new-style rural commune before 2030.

The Commune Party Committee determined to continue building and rectifying the Party and the political system to be clean and strong in all aspects, innovate leadership methods, and improve operational effectiveness and efficiency. Along with that, it is necessary to perfect the organizational apparatus after the merger, focusing on training and fostering a team of cadres, civil servants, and public employees with qualities, capacity, and prestige, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.

The commune sets a target of striving to achieve an average economic growth rate of over 10%/year; average income per capita by 2030 reaching 115 million VND; mobilizing social investment capital of about 500 billion VND per year. Restructuring the economy towards gradually reducing the proportion of agriculture , increasing the proportion of industry, construction and services.

In agriculture, the development orientation is towards commodities, high-tech application, organic agriculture, and improving product quality. Key products such as coconut, sedge, and citrus trees will be focused on development associated with deep processing, creating a closed value chain.

During the past term, the average annual economic growth rate of Nhi Long commune reached 10.33%; the total production value of all sectors reached 2,172.64 billion VND; the total social investment value reached 2,772.6 billion VND (reaching 127.95% of the resolution). The average income per capita reached 78.4 million VND/person/year. Newly developed 32/15 enterprises (reaching 213.33% of the resolution); 96.16% of households met the standards of new rural households; 25/25 new rural hamlets (including 7 model new rural hamlets); newly built and repaired nearly 500 gratitude houses, charity houses, houses of compassion, great solidarity houses for policy families, households with housing difficulties, etc.

Continue to develop the processing industries of agricultural products, aquatic products, consumer goods and maintain and expand traditional craft villages. Trade and services, especially eco-tourism along the Co Chien River, rural tourism, traditional tourism will be promoted in conjunction with building a model new rural area. The commune Party Committee determines to mobilize all resources to invest in traffic infrastructure connecting National Highway 60, National Highway 53, etc.

Continuing and promoting the heroic tradition of the commune, the Party Committee, government and people of Nhi Long commune uphold the spirit of solidarity, self-reliance, self-improvement, aspiration to rise up, act resolutely with high political determination, successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 14th Nhi Long Commune Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
