Instructions for making moon cakes open up a career path for women

On the afternoon of August 17, the Women's Union of Phu Lam Ward (HCMC) organized a thematic activity with instructions on making jelly mooncakes and cinnamon mooncakes. The program attracted more than 30 members and women to participate.

At the meeting, the women learned and practiced making two unique, easy-to-make cakes, suitable for the Mid-Autumn Festival. The jelly mooncakes are cool, colorful, and can be varied with orange, chocolate, butterfly pea, dragon fruit fillings, etc. The cinnamon cake is crispy and fragrant, combining the light sweetness of honey with the pure aroma of cinnamon and wolfberry.

The sisters were excited to learn how to make cakes.

Not only providing baking skills to serve the family, the activity is also an opportunity for members to exchange, share experiences, and strengthen solidarity. The activity ended in joy and excitement; many women wish to continue participating in practical topics in the future.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Trang, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Phu Lam ward, said: "Activities such as the moon cake making workshop not only bring knowledge and skills to apply in life, but also create a warm atmosphere, connecting the feelings between members. This is also an opportunity to encourage women to be creative, try their hand at culinary models, start small businesses, contributing to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values".

The members were excited about the product they had just made.

In the coming time, the Women's Union of Phu Lam ward will continue to maintain, innovate and expand the topics, to meet the learning and exchange needs of local women, and at the same time build an increasingly strong Union organization, becoming a reliable support for members.
