Bank stocks soar, VN-Index up more than 8 points

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session increased compared to the previous session, reaching more than 11,584.95 billion VND.

Foreign investors unexpectedly net sold more than VND2,514 billion on HoSE. On the selling side, VIB bank shares were sold the most with a value of VND2,750 billion, equivalent to a volume of more than 2.7 million units, mainly through agreements. Next were VND (VND47 billion), VPB (VND36 billion), HDB (VND35 billion)... On the contrary, MWG was bought the most (VND94 billion), followed by MSB (VND78 billion), STB (VND68 billion)...

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with only 3 codes: BVH, PLX, VNM slightly down; 2 codes: HDB, SSI unchanged; the remaining 25 codes increased.

Of which, SSB increased by 3.45% to VND 16,500/share, STB increased by 3.41% to VND 31,850/share, VIB increased by 3.24% to VND 19,100/share, MBB increased by 1.81%, GVR increased by 1.69%, VHM increased by 1.37%, MWG increased by 1.19%, BID increased by 1.13%, VPB increased by 1.05%.

The remaining codes: ACB, BCM, CTG, FPT, GAS, HPG, MSN, POW, SAB, SHB , TCB, TPB, VCB, VIC, VJC, VRE increased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks, except for NKG which decreased by 0.71% and TLH which decreased by 0.18%, all others improved. Of which, SMC increased sharply by 5.88% to VND8,100/share, DTL increased by 3.33% to VND12,400/share, HMC increased by 1.87%, HPG increased by 0.58%, HSG increased by 0.25%.

The group of securities stocks closed the session with most codes increasing, of which CTS increased by 1.51%, VDS increased by 1.43%, FTS increased by 1.12%, AGR increased by 1.09%, VCI increased by 0.88%, HCM increased by 0.82%, BSI increased by 0.72%, VIX increased by 0.44%, ORS increased by 0.4%, along with 4 codes: SSI, TCI, TVB, TVS stopped at the reference. On the contrary, DSE decreased by 1.58%, APG decreased by 1.22%, VND decreased by 0.34%.

Banking stocks unexpectedly rose at the end of the session and closed with no declines. In addition to the codes ACB , BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, the remaining codes: EIB increased by 0.58%, LPB increased by 0.96%, MSB increased by 1.31%, OCB increased by 0.87%, NAB increased by 4.17%.

Real estate stocks closed the session up, with many stocks increasing strongly such as: KBC hit the ceiling price of VND28,200/share, LDG increased to the maximum limit, LHG increased by 2.71%, SGR increased by 3.88%, SZC increased by 3.29%, VPH increased by 1.79%...

* The Vietnamese stock market index increased sharply at the end of the session today, VNXALL-Index closed up 15.08 points (+0.72%), to 2,102.17 points. Liquidity in the whole market, with trading volume reaching 792.58 million units, equivalent to trading value reaching 17,975.60 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 236 stocks increasing in price, 116 stocks remaining unchanged and 121 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 234.32 points, up 0.94 points (+0.40%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 40.15 million units transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 800.0 billion. The entire floor had 89 stocks increasing, 74 stocks remaining unchanged and 56 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed up 3.99 points (+0.78%) to 513.76 points. Trading volume reached over 22.72 million units, with a corresponding value of over VND628.39 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 20 stocks increasing, 6 stocks remaining unchanged and 4 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 93.81 points, up 0.17 points (+0.18%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 28.06 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 611.61 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 161 stocks increasing, 103 stocks remaining unchanged and 101 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 8.51 points (+0.67%) to 1,276.99 points. Liquidity reached over 810.69 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND17,627.16 billion. The entire floor had 256 stocks increasing, 95 stocks remaining unchanged and 119 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 9.75 points (+0.74%) to 1,330.87 points. Liquidity reached more than 502.76 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND11,476.56 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 25 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 3 stocks decreasing.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume were VPB (over 37.61 million units), STB (over 24.83 million units), VIB (over 19.06 million units), MBB (over 17.57 million units), ACB (over 12.77 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increase were HTL (6.86%), KBC (6.82%), LDG (6.78%), PNC (6.78%), PMG (5.93%).

The five stocks with the biggest price declines were COM (-6.98%), ITA (-6.98%), AGM (-6.92%), HTV (-6.77%), HU1 (-6.55%).

* Today's derivatives market had 165,598 contracts traded, worth VND 21,988.77 billion.
