At the ceremony, the City Police announced the decisions of the Minister of Public Security and the Director of the City Police on the organization of the apparatus; Decisions on the transfer and arrangement of cadres for 58 leaders at the department and district levels and 222 at the team and commune levels.

Accordingly, Hue City Police has arranged and assigned each commune-level police station to have at least 12 officers and soldiers according to the model of the Ministry of Public Security. During the process of reorganizing the apparatus, many leaders and commanders volunteered to return to the base or were assigned to more difficult and arduous positions. After the reorganization, 9 district, county and town police stations and 80 subordinate teams were dissolved; 27 groups of tasks and powers were transferred to the city-level police station and commune-level police station; 5 groups of tasks were received from departments and branches to the city police station.

At the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh acknowledged and commended the positive and urgent spirit of the entire city police force in the work of reorganizing the apparatus, contributing to the timely implementation of the policies and directions of the Central Government. At the same time, he emphasized that in the coming time, the tasks of the city police force are extremely heavy, requiring the apparatus to be streamlined, compact, and operate effectively, efficiently, synchronously, and consistently, "one agency performs many tasks and one task is assigned to only one agency to preside over and take responsibility"

Therefore, the City Police need to quickly stabilize the organization, urgently direct the implementation of all aspects of work, and successfully complete the tasks of ensuring security and order. At the same time, coordinate with departments, branches, and local authorities to mobilize legal financial resources, promote socialization, diversify financial sources to serve the regular and ad hoc work of the City Police force, and invest in facilities, equipment, and modern means for the forces, meeting the requirements of protecting security and order of the Commune Police. Officers and soldiers assigned to new jobs need to continue to practice their moral qualities, improve their professional capacity, promote the spirit of solidarity, be exemplary, and excellently complete the assigned tasks.
