Announcing the new comedy project "Get Rich with Ghosts"

The comedy film project combining family and spiritual themes called "Getting Rich with Ghosts" by director Nguyen Nhat Trung has just started, with the participation of many famous actors, in which Tuan Tran plays the main role.

Tuan Tran, the actor who is currently famous for his role as Sau in the 500 billion VND grossed film “Mai” by Tran Thanh, and before that “Bo Gia”, this time plays the main role of Lanh in “Getting Rich with Ghosts”. The film tells the story of Lanh’s journey to “get rich” with the help of a “ghost” in a humorous and funny way, full of both funny and sad events.

Tuan Tran shared: “Every time Tuan accepts a role in a film, he carefully researches the director and crew. Tuan has worked with Nguyen Nhat Trung before and likes his working style, as well as seeing the investment in the project, so he accepted. Lanh's personality is also different from Tuan's previous roles. The character is more impulsive and rebellious, so Tuan also wants to see how 'rebellious' he can be.”

The film also features Diep Bao Ngoc, a fairly successful face when participating in "Flip Side 6: The Fateful Ticket" in 2023. Diep Bao Ngoc plays a role with both tragic and comedic elements in the film, and this is also the factor that made the actress immediately accept the role from director Nhat Trung without reading the script.

The film also brings together long-standing, famous artists such as Meritorious Artist Huu Chau, Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh, Quang Minh, Le Giang... However, "Getting Rich with Ghosts" is the first film of director Nguyen Nhat Trung. Previously, he participated in successful projects such as the MV "Forever with You" by Ly Hai, a number of comedy skits by Nhat Cuong, Viet Huong, Hoang Son... Nguyen Nhat Trung also made a number of famous TV series such as "Family is Number 1" (2017), "Sai Potato Star" (2018), "Family is Number 1" - Part 2 (2019), "Sui gia hay xui gia" (2022). He also participated as an actor in the films "Secret is Lost Again" and "Super Lick and the Super Mud".

Sharing about the cast, director Nhat Trung said: “I have worked with almost all of the cast and understand each person’s color. Trung sees in Tuan Tran a love for the profession and dedication to each role. Tuan Tran and Diep Bao Ngoc are also two actors with very rustic acting, using emotions from within to express the characters that I really like.”

The film is scheduled to open on September 2 in theaters nationwide.
