On the morning of December 27, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City held a conference to deploy the tourism development plan for 2025, and at the same time announced official information about the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025.
DIFF 2025 will take place from May 31 to July 12, 2025, with the theme " Danang - The New Rising Era". 2025 is the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang city, therefore, DIFF 2025 carries the message of the transition of the era, affirming the city's aspirations and determination in the new period, with a vision of prosperous development and efforts to mark the position of Da Nang on the international tourism map.
This will also be the longest and biggest fireworks season in DIFF history, with 6 fireworks nights and the participation of 10 competing teams from Vietnam, Finland, England, Portugal, Poland, Korea, Italy, Canada, and China.
Different from previous years, DIFF 2025 will not only have impressive fireworks displays but also a combination of art, music , sports and technological innovation. Each competition night will be a vibrant live concert with the participation of famous domestic and international artists and music idols, combining fireworks, music and modern technology, bringing visitors experiences beyond expectations. In particular, AR technology will be integrated into the Sun Paradise Land (SPL) application, allowing visitors to experience fireworks via smartphone from anywhere.
According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, after 12 successful events, DIFF has become an indispensable event every summer in the coastal city, becoming a factor promoting the growth of Da Nang tourism. In 2024, Da Nang recorded more than 1.5 million visitors staying during the 2 months of the event, with more than 50 flights per day and tourism revenue reaching 16,344 billion VND.
Along with DIFF, in 2025, Da Nang will organize a series of attractive accompanying events, creating a vibrant, colorful, and multi-experience atmosphere to attract tourists. Notable events include special music concerts, beer and food festivals, a series of brilliant Sun Festivals, grand parades and military parades, 3D Mapping performances, drone music festivals, impressive flyboard and Jetski performances... In addition, there are also creative exhibitions - technology applications, Asian film festivals, Da Nang international marathon, and a series of other unique cultural activities, promising to bring unforgettable experiences to visitors next year.
