Official poster of Hue Festival 2024 announced

The poster is mainly inspired by the royal motifs restored on Kien Trung Palace, Imperial City, Hue .

Recreating the lines, colors and patterns of the royal style, the poster has the main symbol of the windows, to express the spirit of integration and exchange to develop on the foundation of the cultural heritage of the ancient capital of Hue Festival.

The center of the poster is the phrase Hue Festival with the word Hue stylized from ceramic mosaic art and the symbol of the Dragon - the Zodiac animal of 2024 - a symbol that commonly appears on Hue heritages, also symbolizing the aspiration for peace and development.

Inheriting the previous spirit, the poster still uses the image of mai - lotus - chrysanthemum - pine, symbolizing the harmony of yin and yang of the four seasons - the four seasons rotate and circulate with the Hue Festival. These are motifs from Thien Dinh Palace, Khai Dinh Tomb and Kien Trung Palace.

According to the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, the Hue Festival 2024 Key Week with the theme "Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development" bringing together art troupes and artists from Hue, Vietnam and internationally will take place from June 7 to 12.
