Special support for working forces in Tho Chau special zone

The People's Council of An Giang province, term X, 2021-2026, passed a Resolution stipulating support regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees; part-time workers in communes and hamlets; people directly involved in hamlet work; hamlet team leaders; members of security and order protection teams working in Tho Chau Special Zone (An Giang province).

Delegates voted to pass the resolution at the 2nd Session.

At the 2nd Session (Regular Session in mid-2025), the An Giang Provincial People's Council agreed to support 25% of current salary for officials and civil servants holding the following positions: Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Chairman, Vice Chairman of the People's Council; Chairman, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee; officials holding leadership and management positions.

Support 30% of current salary for cadres not subject to the above regulations and civil servants and public employees working in the special zone. Support 70% of current monthly allowance for part-time workers in hamlets and those directly involved in hamlet work.

Support 80% of current monthly allowance for part-time commune workers; hamlet team leaders; members of security and order protection teams.

Provincial People's Council delegates assessed that with isolated geographical features and difficult living conditions, the resolution stipulates specific support levels to encourage and retain working forces in Tho Chau Special Zone, An Giang province.
