Recognizing the position, role and importance of political education, in recent years, the Party Committee and commanders of Squadron 21, Party committees and commanders at all levels have focused on leading and directing the synchronous implementation of solutions to effectively implement political education work, contributing to building strong agencies and units, improving overall quality, qualifications and combat readiness, meeting the requirements and tasks of protecting sovereignty and enforcing the law at sea in the new situation.

Accordingly, the Party Committee and the Commander of the 21st Fleet lead and direct the agencies, squadrons and affiliated ships to attach importance to raising the awareness and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, political commissars, political officers and commanders at all levels for political education work. Units regularly improve the number and quality of political instructors, and prioritize units performing training and combat readiness tasks.

To thoroughly grasp and implement Directive No. 2423-CT/QUTW, the Party Committee and the Command of the 21st Fleet lead and direct agencies and units to synchronously implement policies and solutions to strengthen political education. In particular, the most important solution is to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, political commissars, political officers and commanders at all levels for political education. Effectively implementing this solution will help leaders and commanders at all levels correctly identify the position, role and importance of political education, thereby focusing on leading and organizing the effective implementation of all aspects of work.

Therefore, Party committees, political commissars, political officers, and commanders at all levels must focus on leading and organizing well the research, dissemination, and implementation of the directive and include the content of this task in the regular resolutions of Party committees, Party organizations, Party work plans, political work, and plans to build comprehensively strong, "exemplary, typical" units. Political agencies at all levels must preside over and coordinate with functional agencies to advise Party committees, political commissars, political officers, and commanders to research, disseminate, and implement, considering this one of the key tasks of annual Party and political work activities.

The leadership and direction process is comprehensive, attaching importance to promoting the role and responsibility of organizations and forces and exploiting the cultural means and institutions of the unit. In each stage and each task, the units attach importance to organizing experience sharing, clearly identifying limitations and causes, and on that basis proposing timely remedial measures. Every year, taking the results of political education work as one of the important criteria to evaluate the task completion results of organizations and each cadre, party member, union member and association member. Reality shows that implementing this content well contributes to creating substantial and solid changes in the quality of political education.

Since then, the unit's political and ideological education work has always been led, directed and organized regularly with diverse contents and methods; focusing on improving the political capacity and determination of soldiers; especially in the tasks of patrolling, inspecting, controlling, maintaining law enforcement at sea, searching and rescuing and other unexpected tasks, contributing to building a politically strong Navy; building a clean and strong Party organization, a comprehensively strong agency and unit that is "exemplary and typical", successfully completing assigned tasks.

In the coming time, the unit's tasks will pose new, higher, and more comprehensive requirements; the task of fighting to protect sovereignty over seas and islands and enforcing the law at sea will become increasingly complicated and unpredictable; crimes and violations at sea will become increasingly sophisticated and cunning... In addition, the negative aspects of the market economy and social media will have a strong impact and negatively affect the ideology and lifestyle of a number of young officers and soldiers.

In that situation, thoroughly implementing Directive No. 2423-CT/QUTW of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee and directives and instructions of Party committees at all levels, the Party Committee and Command of Squadron 21 determined to focus on leading and directing the synchronous implementation of policies and solutions to strengthen political education work; in which, focusing on raising awareness and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, political commissars, political officers and commanders at all levels for political education work. Along with strengthening the leadership and direction of Party committees, Party organizations, political commissars, political officers and commanders at all levels for political education work, it is necessary to attach importance to enhancing the responsibility and exemplary role of the team of cadres directly conducting political education work, especially in squadrons and ships. To do so, it is necessary to actively and comprehensively innovate the content, form and method of political education.

In response to the requirements and tasks of building a "revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern" Vietnam Coast Guard in the new situation, Squadron 21, Command of Coast Guard Region 2 has been focusing on leading and directing the synchronous and drastic implementation of solutions to strengthen political education work according to Directive No. 2423-CT/QUTW of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee and Party committees at all levels. Thereby, contributing to building a Squadron that is strong in politics, ideology, organization, ethics, and cadres, has high overall quality and combat strength, successfully completes the central political task, and contributes to firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
