Premiering many films about history and Uncle Ho to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday

(DN) - To celebrate the major holidays of April 30, May 1, May 7 and the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is organizing a film screening campaign nationwide from April 30 to May 20.

The selected films include: feature film Childhood Moon; documentary films: Company 915 forever shines with its fiery epic, President Ho Chi Minh with the capital of a thousand years of culture, In the heart of the city I love, Journalist Ho Chi Minh; animated films The sound of the gong in the mountains, The tree of aspirations, The flower for Uncle Ho.

In Dong Nai, Head of the Cinema Department of Dong Nai Cultural - Cinema Center Nguyen Tien Dung said that during the holidays of April 30, May 1, May 7 and towards the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, 5 film screening teams (6 groups) of the unit are organizing the screening of many films with themes about history and Uncle Ho.

Featured films include: The historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign; Liberation of Saigon; Hello Miss Ba; Miraculous Medicine; Peach, Pho and Piano and films organized for screening by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

In addition to screening films, the teams also included propaganda about major holidays, the 135th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday, and outstanding issues of the country and the province. The total number of screenings and propaganda sessions during this period was nearly 200, attracting tens of thousands of people to watch and respond.
