People are enthusiastically guided by civil servants of Long My Ward Public Administration Service Center.
Wholehearted service
Spacious space, clear reception process, dedicated staff - that is the feeling of Mr. Truong Van Ua in Hamlet 5, Long My Ward, after coming to the Public Administration Service Center of the ward to carry out the procedures for dividing land inheritance for his child. Mr. Ua said: "I am very satisfied with the way of working here. The center is spacious, clean, the staff guides enthusiastically, cheerfully, clearly explains each step so the paperwork is done quickly, without having to wait long".
Long My Ward was established on the basis of merging Thuan An Ward, Long Tri Commune and Long Tri A Commune. After coming into operation, the staff and civil servants of Long My Ward Public Administration Service Center quickly adapted to the new situation, arranged time scientifically , improved the spirit of coordination, and ensured that all administrative procedures were received and processed on time and in accordance with regulations.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu, a civil servant in charge of land and construction at the Center, said: “We proactively support people to access and use online public services, especially for those who are not familiar with operating on computers and smartphones. It is forecasted that the workload will increase in the near future, but we are ready to serve the people in the best way possible.”
In recent days, Mr. Luu Quoc Anh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee and Director of the Long My Ward Public Administration Service Center, has been closely monitoring the Center's activities, regularly reminding civil servants to be enthusiastic and friendly when interacting with people and to fulfill their responsibilities at work. On average, the Center receives more than 50 files from people every day and all are processed on time. In particular, some administrative procedures that can be processed within 1 day such as: confirming job applications, reissuing copies of birth certificates, reissuing personal records, etc. have been shortened by civil servants to 1 session.
Mr. Luu Quoc Anh emphasized: “We identify maintaining the stability of the administrative apparatus and serving the people as our top priority. The staff and civil servants at the Center are willing to work overtime to promptly resolve procedures. We always encourage our staff to demonstrate good office culture, be friendly and welcoming when interacting with people. If any civil servant is reported to have a bad working attitude, they will be disciplined.”
Strengthening trust in local government
Hoa Luu Commune was established on the basis of merging Tan Tien, Hoa Tien and Hoa Luu communes. In recent days, Hoa Luu Commune Public Administration Service Center has received quite a lot of documents. Among them, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Diem - civil status officer, receives more than 20 documents per day. All of them are handled by her in accordance with regulations, with a warm, enthusiastic and friendly attitude. "In my work, I try to bring satisfaction to the people; each file I handle is not simply a piece of paper, but also the people's trust in the new apparatus after the merger" - Ms. Diem shared.
The Hoa Luu Commune Public Administration Service Center has 11 staff members and civil servants, and the working motto is "when work is done, not when time is up". Mr. Trang Ich Hoa, Deputy Director of the Commune Public Administration Service Center, said that in the early days of operation, there were times when the transmission line was overloaded, causing delays in processing people's files. However, the Center's staff always tried their best, returning results immediately for any files that were returned and patiently explaining to make people understand the delays caused by the Internet. Up to now, the Center's operations have been basically stable, and people who come here are satisfied with the facilities and the service attitude of the staff.
After the merger and consolidation, the workload has increased, the organizational structure is still in the process of being completed, but the staff and civil servants at the new commune-level public administrative centers with their spirit, dedication and responsibility are contributing every day to improving the effectiveness of administrative reform, building a friendly, honest and serving government. They not only help people to quickly resolve procedures but also contribute to strengthening trust in the grassroots government after the merger and consolidation.
