People are enthusiastically guided by civil servants of Long My Ward Public Administration Service Center.
Wholehearted service
Spacious facilities, clear procedures, and dedicated staff – that's the impression of Mr. Truong Van Ua from Hamlet 5, Long My Ward, after visiting the Ward's Public Administrative Service Center to complete the land inheritance procedure for his children. Mr. Ua said: “I am very satisfied with the way things work here. The center is spacious and clean, the staff are helpful, friendly, and explain each step clearly, so the paperwork was processed quickly and efficiently without long waits.”
Long My Ward was established by merging Thuan An Ward, Long Tri Commune, and Long Tri A Commune. After becoming operational, the staff of the Long My Ward Public Administrative Service Center quickly adapted to the new situation, arranged their time scientifically , improved coordination, and ensured that all administrative procedures were received and processed on time and in accordance with regulations.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu, a civil servant in charge of land and construction at the Center, said: “We proactively support people in accessing and using online public services, especially those who are not familiar with using computers and smartphones. We anticipate that the workload will increase in the coming period, but we are prepared to provide the best possible service to the people.”
Over the past few days, Mr. Luu Quoc Anh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee and Director of the Public Administrative Service Center of Long My Ward, has closely monitored the Center's activities, regularly reminding civil servants to be dedicated and welcoming when interacting with citizens and to fulfill their responsibilities. On average, the Center receives more than 50 applications from citizens each day, and all are processed on time. In particular, some administrative procedures that previously took one day to process, such as confirming job applications, reissuing copies of birth certificates, and reissuing personal records, have been shortened by civil servants to just half a day.
Mr. Luu Quoc Anh emphasized: “We consider maintaining administrative stability and serving the people as our top priority. Officials at the Center are ready to work overtime to process procedures promptly. We always encourage our staff to demonstrate good workplace culture, being approachable and welcoming when interacting with the public. If any official is reported to have a poor work attitude, they will be disciplined.”
Strengthening trust in grassroots government
Hoa Luu commune was established by merging Tan Tien, Hoa Tien, and Hoa Luu communes. In recent days, the Hoa Luu Commune Public Administrative Service Center has received a considerable number of applications. Among them, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Diem, a civil registry officer, receives more than 20 applications daily. She handles all applications according to regulations, with a cheerful, enthusiastic, and approachable attitude. “In my work, I strive to bring satisfaction to the people; each application I process is not simply a piece of paper, but also represents the people's trust in the new administrative system after the merger,” Ms. Diem shared.
The Hoa Luu Commune Public Administrative Service Center has 11 staff members, and their working motto is "work until the job is done, not until the clock runs out." Mr. Trang Ich Hoa, Deputy Director of the Center, said that in the early days of operation, there were times when the internet connection was overloaded, causing delays in processing citizens' applications. However, the Center's staff always made every effort, providing immediate results for applications that could be processed and patiently explaining the delays caused by the internet to the public. To date, the Center's operations are basically stable, and residents are satisfied with the facilities and the service attitude of the staff.
Following mergers and consolidations, the workload has increased, and the organizational structure is still being perfected. However, the staff and civil servants at the newly established commune-level public administrative centers, with their dedication and responsibility, are contributing daily to improving the efficiency of administrative reform and building a friendly, honest, and service-oriented government. They not only help people resolve procedures quickly but also contribute to strengthening trust in the local government after the mergers and consolidations.
