Dak Lak Provincial Education Trade Union summarizes work of semester I, school year 2024-2025

On January 10, the Dak Lak ProvincialEducation Trade Union held a conference to review the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year.

The Provincial Education Trade Union currently directly manages 66 grassroots trade unions with 5,066 union members; coordinates with the District Labor Federation to manage 947 grassroots trade unions with 32,391 union members. In the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year, the Provincial Education Trade Union has directed and effectively implemented trade union activities, propaganda, mobilization and good spiritual and material encouragement for the team of cadres, teachers and workers; well performed the function of caring for, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the team of cadres, teachers and workers.

The industry union has mobilized donations to the Dak Lak Provincial Union Support Fund for union members and workers, raising over 500 million VND; supporting the construction of 4 houses for union members with especially difficult housing circumstances with an amount of 50 million VND/house.

To celebrate the 120th anniversary of the founding of Dak Lak province, the Provincial Education Trade Union called on businesses and sponsors to build and complete the public housing project for teachers in remote areas of Vo Nguyen Giap High School worth over 500 million VND; called for organizing game shows to support over 1 billion VND for teachers with serious illnesses; called on businesses to support visiting and giving gifts to 367 female teachers and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 105 million VND; donated over 100 warm coats and other gifts to teachers and workers working in border areas, areas with a large concentration of ethnic minorities, and difficult areas of the province with a total value of 228 million VND; organized activities to celebrate the Children's Mid-Autumn Festival, gave gifts and rewards to children of teachers, teachers, and workers with a total amount of over 200 million VND...

The patriotic emulation movement associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style and the industry's campaigns have been practically and effectively implemented; the content and methods of Trade Union activities have been innovated; inspection, supervision and coordination activities in inspecting and supervising the implementation of labor laws, the Trade Union Law and regimes and policies directly related to cadres, teachers and workers at educational institutions have been well implemented, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of education and building a strong Trade Union organization.

At the conference, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Dak Lak Branch, IMA Vietnam Center - Dak Lak Branch and Viettel Dak Lak presented gifts to support union members and employees in the education sector with difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 with a total value of 35 million VND.

On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Le Van Thanh awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to the Trade Union of Le Quy Don High School (Buon Ma Thuot City) and 3 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of excellent workers and building a strong Trade Union organization in the 2023-2024 school year; awarded the Emulation Flag of the Provincial Labor Federation to the Trade Union of Hoang Viet Primary, Secondary and High School (Buon Ma Thuot City); awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Provincial Labor Federation to Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hue - Union member of the Trade Union of Dam San Ethnic Boarding High School, Buon Ho town for her outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" in the 2023-2024 school year. The Provincial Labor Federation also presented many meaningful gifts to union members in difficult circumstances in the area.
