According to the new decision issued on May 16, 61 teachers were recognized as successful, including: 14 preschool teachers, 22 primary school teachers and 25 secondary school teachers. The candidates will be assigned to work at 25educational institutions in the district.

The District People's Committee assigned the 2024 Teacher Recruitment Council to publicly announce the results on the electronic information portal of the Ia Grai District People's Committee, and at the same time notify the results in writing to the candidates.

Previously, claiming that the People's Committee of La Grai district had not seriously implemented the Central Government's directive on temporarily suspending civil servant recruitment, on April 8, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province issued Document No. 861/UBND-NC requesting the district to withdraw the decision to recognize the recruitment results of the 61 teachers mentioned above.

In addition, the People's Committee of La Grai district is also required to review and report specifically on the recruitment situation of teachers and civil servants in 2024 in the district, including a list of recruited cases, time, form of recruitment and legal basis for recruitment.

The district was also asked to clearly explain the cause and responsibility of the relevant collective and individuals for not seriously implementing the directive on temporarily suspending the recruitment of civil servants and public employees.

In order to implement the above requirements, on April 9, the People's Committee of Ia Grai district issued a decision to revoke the decision to recognize and approve the results of the 2024 teacher recruitment exam issued on March 24.

The re-recognition of recruitment results was carried out after the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee issued a new guidance document, allowing the continued recruitment of teachers according to the assigned number of positions, ensuring the principle of "where there are students, there must be teachers in the classroom".

The Ministry of Home Affairs also agreed with Gia Lai province's proposal to continue the plan to recruit education officials to promptly supplement the shortage of teachers, especially in the 2022-2026 period.

On April 9, the People's Committee of Ia Grai district (Gia Lai province) revoked the decision to recognize and approve the results of the 2024 teacher recruitment (phase 1) for 61 cases.
