Recognition of Nguyen Van Cu Political School as reaching level 1 standards

(BTV) On the afternoon of December 10, in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held a meeting of the Appraisal Council for Nguyen Van Cu Political School to meet level 1 standards. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Permanent Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Appraisal Council at the Academy level chaired.

According to the results of the survey, inspection and review of the records, the Appraisal Council commented: The records requesting recognition of level 1 standards are complete and in accordance with regulations. The process and order of school-level and provincial-level assessments are carried out in accordance with Instruction No. 61 dated May 17, 2024 of the Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. The school has achieved 53/55 targets, of which 10 targets exceeded the standard. Specifically, in terms of staff and civil servants, 27/29 targets were achieved (5 targets exceeded the standard); Training and fostering activities achieved 5/5 targets (1 target exceeded the standard); Scientific research activities, summarizing practices, achieved 9/9 targets (2 targets exceeded the standard); Building Party school culture, implementing discipline and order achieved 8/8 targets; Facilities, technical means and finance achieved 3/3 targets (1 target exceeded the standard).

After discussion, the Appraisal Council unanimously recognized Nguyen Van Cu Political School as meeting level 1 standards.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Academy's Appraisal Council, acknowledged and highly appreciated the close and drastic leadership and direction of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee in implementing Regulation No. 11 of the Secretariat; the efforts and determination of the school's staff and lecturers in the process of building the school to meet level 1 standards. In the coming time, he requested that Bac Ninh province continue to direct Nguyen Van Cu Political School to complete the procedures to organize a solemn and economical ceremony to recognize the school as meeting level 1 standards on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding, creating a ripple effect in the region and the system. At the same time, continue to pay attention and create conditions for Nguyen Van Cu Political School to maintain and improve its standard indicators.

Expressing his gratitude for the objective, dedicated and responsible assessments of the Appraisal Council, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan affirmed that the province will seriously absorb all opinions to continue to maintain the achieved results and further improve the quality of the criteria for the standard Political School. Emphasizing that over the years, Bac Ninh province has always paid attention to and attached importance to the training and fostering of cadres. Despite many difficulties, the province has always allocated resources to invest in facilities and improve the training quality of Nguyen Van Cu Political School. Sharing about the school's development strategy in the coming time, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said: The province has assigned Nguyen Van Cu Political School to research and develop lists and training programs for cadres for the entire political system of the province.

At the same time, consider building a mechanism for the school's lecturers to go on field trips to gain experience in the teaching process. Bac Ninh province will also have policies to support lecturers and managers to study for Masters and PhDs. He believes that with the tradition of academic excellence and studiousness of his hometown Bac Ninh, along with the attention and facilitation of the Board of Directors, teachers of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and many policies of the province for cadre training, Nguyen Van Cu Political School will constantly strive to improve the quality of the criteria of a standard Political School, do a good job in training, researching and fostering cadres, worthy of the school named after the late General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu.
