Ho Chi Minh City's mass mobilization work achieved synchronous results in all fields.

(NLDO) - Ho Chi Minh City's mass mobilization work in 2024 has achieved synchronous results in all fields with many positive achievements.

On December 20, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission held a conference to review mass mobilization work and implement democracy at the grassroots level in 2024; and deploy directions and tasks for 2025.

Attending the conference were Mr. Do Van Phoi, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization; Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for Mass Mobilization.

Speaking at the direction, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Phuoc Loc assessed that the city's mass mobilization work in 2024 had achieved synchronous results in all fields with many positive achievements.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc said that in 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has set out 22 groups of targets for key socio -economic development, including the target of the city's gross domestic product (GRDP) growth striving to reach over double digits.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, this is a very high target, requiring the entire Party to have political determination, the entire political system to resolutely implement and mobilize all classes of people to join hands to achieve the set results.

Ho Chi Minh City leaders awarded certificates of merit from the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to collectives with outstanding achievements in mass mobilization work and implementing democracy at the grassroots level in 2024.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc requested that Party committees and organizations at all levels direct the serious implementation of the summary of Resolution 18 according to the requirements at their level, directly the merger of the Propaganda Department and the Mass Mobilization Department at the city, district, and commune levels, Thu Duc City must be carefully reviewed according to the policy of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.

The Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of mobilizing the people; increasingly improve the function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members, association members, and the people. Activities must be linked to the implementation of policies for people with meritorious services, social security policies, and social protection policies.

Regarding the immediate task, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc requested the entire city's mass mobilization system, with a core role in advising and coordinating implementation, to create a lot of positive energy to focus all resources to care for and support the people of Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025 according to the motto: gratitude, completeness, and affection...
