(HNMO) - On the morning of June 11, nearly 105,000 candidates registered to take the 10th grade entrance exam at non-specialized public high schools for the 2023-2024 school year took the math test - the third and final subject of the exam. Before the exam, Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Departmentof Education and Training, Deputy Head of the Hanoi City Examination and Admissions Steering Committee, led a working delegation to inspect the organization of the exam and encourage candidates, officials, teachers and staff at the exam sites of Viet Duc High School (Hoan Kiem District) and Thang Long High School (Hai Ba Trung District).
Quick reports from the leaders of both examination sites confirmed that the organization of the examination up to the time of the examination was carried out according to plan, safely, and without any incidents. The electricity supply at the examination sites was guaranteed. During the remaining examination time, the examination sites continued to coordinate with the forces to ensure good conditions for the candidates were maintained.
Although the exam has been completed 2/3 of the way, the inspection team still directly checked the physical conditions in the exam rooms such as tables, chairs, lighting, fans, air conditioners, windows, etc. and the area for storing candidates' personal belongings. The exam invigilators are serious, but do not cause stress for candidates and create the best possible conditions within their authority so that candidates can comfortably and confidently take the exam and achieve high results.
According to the assessment of the working group of the Hanoi City Examination and Admissions Steering Committee, at the time of inspection, the organization of the 10th grade entrance exam for public high schools for the 2023-2024 school year was being implemented according to plan, ensuring safety. The City Examination and Admissions Steering Committee requested the Examination and Admissions Steering Committees of districts, towns and cities to continue to monitor the situation, be proactive, and prepare response plans in case of unusual situations, and strengthen security and safety measures at 201 examination sites across the city.
