Five Star Ha Tinh Garment Joint Stock Company temporarily suspends operations due to difficulties

From November 1, 2023, Five Star Garment Joint Stock Company (Dai Kim Industrial Park, Son Kim 1 Commune, Huong Son District, Ha Tinh ) requests to temporarily suspend production and business activities.

On October 24, 2023, Five Star Garment Joint Stock Company sent a document to the authorities and all employees of the company regarding the temporary suspension of operations due to many difficulties in goods and finance.

According to the document, the company will temporarily cut off social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for employees from October 2023. For the salary of workers receiving cash in September 2023, the company's Board of Directors paid the employees on November 1, 2023. The salary for October 2023 will be paid on November 15, 2023. The company's Board of Directors will try to find markets and bring in new orders so that the company can resume operations.

According to Ms. Cu Bich Thuan - President of the Huong Son District Labor Federation, after receiving the notice from the company, the District Labor Federation wanted to have a direct meeting to discuss some related issues but has not received a response.
