What does Mr. Dang Thanh Tam's company attract 2,500 billion VND for?

(NLDO)- Mr. Dang Thanh Tam's Kinh Bac Company will issue 250 million shares privately, attracting 2,500 billion VND.

The Board of Directors of Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation (Kinh Bac-KBC) has just announced a resolution on issuing private shares to increase charter capital and approving the plan to use the issued capital.

Accordingly, it is expected that from the first quarter to the third quarter of 2025, Kinh Bac will issue 250 million shares through private offering, with a par value of VND 2,500 billion, equivalent to an offering ratio of 32.57% of outstanding shares.

The target audience for the offering is 100 domestic and foreign professional securities investors. These investors must be professional organizations or individuals, complying with the provisions of the law on securities investment.

According to the plan proposed by Kinh Bac, the offering price will be equal to 80% of the average closing price of the 30 trading sessions immediately preceding the date of the State Securities Commission (SSC)'s approval. The offering price must not be lower than VND16,200/share. The offering price will be rounded up based on the approved calculation formula.

Investors are not allowed to transfer shares within 1 year. Or only transfer in case of implementation according to court decision, arbitration decision or inheritance according to law. The offering price will be determined based on the recent market price of shares. The purpose is to ensure the offering price is reasonable and attractive to investors.

According to the document signed by Mr. Dang Thanh Tam, Kinh Bac will use a portion of the proceeds to repay debts, reduce interest burden, and improve the debt-to-equity ratio. This helps reduce financial risks and increase access to other sources of capital. The remaining amount will be used to increase working capital, meet capital needs for production and business activities, invest in new projects and other business opportunities.
