Train captain Nguyen Dinh Quy (Saigon Railway Attendant Group) said that previously on August 21, at around 2:35 p.m. on the SE8 train he was in charge of from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi , train attendant Bui Chien Cong discovered a passenger had left a white bag behind and immediately reported it to the train captain.

Captain Quy and the security guard on the train came to check and make a report. In the bag there were more than 15 million VND in cash and many important documents such as citizen identification, health insurance card, in addition to some other personal items.
Knowing that this was the property that the passenger left behind, the train conductor searched the information on the electronic train ticket system and contacted the passenger. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nu confirmed that it was her property that she left behind when getting off the train at Nam Dinh station. She wanted to receive the property back at Nam Dinh station.

Last night, train captain Quy and the crew in charge of train SE1 departed from Hanoi station to Saigon station. When the train stopped at Nam Dinh station, they completed the procedures to return all the forgotten property to Ms. Nu.
Happy to receive her property back, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nu emotionally shared: "I was really surprised and very grateful for the sense of responsibility of the crew on the ship. Without this dedication, I would have encountered many difficulties when losing my documents and money."
