Provincial Statistics Office organizes training on mid-term population and housing census 2024

The Provincial Statistics Office has just organized a training course on the 2024 mid-term population and housing census for 40 delegates who are members of the Provincial Mid-term Population and Housing Census Working Group; inspectors, and leaders of the District and City Statistics Offices.

At the training course, trainees were introduced, disseminated, and implemented the 2024 mid-term population and housing census plan with the following contents: Information on household members; determining actual permanent population; information on migration; housing and living conditions of households.

The 2024 mid-term population and housing census is being carried out nationwide to collect information on population and housing, as a basis for assessing the implementation of the 2021-2025 socio-economic development plan; developing policies and planning for population and housing to serve the development of the 2026-2030 socio -economic development plan; updating the data warehouse to serve research, analysis and forecasting of population and housing development nationwide and in each locality.

According to the plan, the time for collecting information for the 2024 mid-term population and housing census in Ninh Binh province will be implemented from April 1, 2024 to April 30, 2024.
