Ms. Le Hai Yen, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DOCST) said: In 2025, there will be many important events of the province and the country. Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the province, the DOCST has developed a plan to organize activities to celebrate major holidays in 2025, focusing on the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Accordingly, the department has directed units to coordinate in implementing a series of diverse propaganda activities, including propaganda on the press, media, grassroots information and social networking platforms. At the same time, visual propaganda forms such as exhibitions, historical film screenings, and cultural, artistic and sports activities are also widely organized. Up to now, all units have proactively fulfilled their assigned tasks, actively participated in the main activities of the celebration, creating an exciting atmosphere towards the country's important holiday.
Currently, the Provincial Cultural Center has installed a set of propaganda paintings on the above theme with an area of 210m2 at the Hoang Van Thu monument in Luong Van Tri ward. At the same time, it has decorated over 30 flags and banners along with visual propaganda paintings about the anniversary on some central streets of the wards: Luong Van Tri, Dong Kinh, Tam Thanh, Ky Lua...

In particular, the Provincial Library has attracted many readers to the book and newspaper display booth to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. With more than 1,000 books and newspapers, the display booth focuses on introducing to readers works recreating important historical events of the country such as: "Uncle Ho writes the Declaration of Independence", "The Declaration of Independence in the Ho Chi Minh era"...
Turning the pages of the book “September 2, 1945 through the pages of memories”, Ms. Ngo Quynh Trang, Luong Van Tri ward shared: The book really attracted me right from the title and made me curious about the detailed content inside. Reading this book helped me understand more about the August Revolution in 1945; President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam at Ba Dinh Square.

In particular, this year, along with other provinces and cities across the country, Lang Son province will participate in the Socio-Economic Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day held at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City from August 28 to September 5, 2025. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has assigned the Provincial Museum to preside over and coordinate with design consultants to implement the conditions for preparing the province's exhibition booth at the exhibition. The exhibition booth is expected to be organized according to the open - continuous - experiential model, the content of the exhibition in the booth revolves around 3 thematic clusters: Lang Son - land and people; Socio-economic achievements of Lang Son province; Lang Son, confident, breakthrough into the new era of the nation.
Mr. Nong Duc Kien, Director of the Provincial Museum, said: We have carefully selected and prepared hundreds of typical photos, documents, and artifacts, with the main theme "Lang Son - 80 years of journey to rise".
