The Miss Multicultural Vietnam 2025 contest was approved by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports to be organized according to Document No. 3299/SVHTT-QLNT.

This is a national beauty contest, aiming to honor the beauty, intelligence and cultural identity of Vietnamese women. Contestants not only show off their body, talent and personal qualities, but also contribute to spreading the precious traditional values of the nation to the domestic community and international friends.
The contest is also the official selection round to find a Vietnamese representative to attend Miss Multicultural World 2026 taking place in Vietnam in June 2026. This is an international beauty pageant that gathers contestants from many countries and territories, where candidates are comprehensively evaluated on their beauty, knowledge, talent and cultural understanding.
Speaking at the press conference announcing the contest held in Hanoi on the afternoon of August 20, Miss Phan Kim Oanh, President and Founder of Miss Multicultural Vietnam and Miss Multicultural World said: “Miss Multicultural Vietnam does not only stop at honoring physical beauty, but also opens a journey to spread national cultural values. The contest is a gathering place for modern Vietnamese girls who are brave, intelligent and proud of their national identity. Through the rounds, precious traditional values will be aroused, preserved and widely promoted to the community, especially the young generation and international friends.”

According to Miss Phan Kim Oanh, in the context of international integration, preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural identity has become extremely urgent. Miss Culture Vietnam was born to seek out a model woman who possesses modern beauty, courage and intelligence, and also understands and respects traditional values.
Not only a beauty contest, this is also a place to honor the beauty of Vietnamese culture from costumes, language, cuisine to rituals and customs; create a bridge between the young generation and heritage, arouse national pride; at the same time inspire a beautiful, standard and patriotic lifestyle.
The winner of the crown will be a cultural ambassador, with the mission of connecting the past and present, contributing to affirming Vietnam's position on the world cultural map.
Candidates must be female Vietnamese citizens from 18 to 33 years old, 1m63 or taller, never married (single mothers are accepted) and have graduated from high school or higher.
The contestants will go through 3 rounds to reach the highest title. Of which, the preliminary round will be held on November 18 to select 40 contestants for the semi-finals. The semi-finals will take place on November 22 with three competitions: ao dai, evening gown and talent, thereby selecting the 30 best faces to enter the final. The final round of the contest will be held on November 23, at Ho Guom Theater (Hanoi).
The contest's jury includes many prestigious faces. Besides Miss Phan Kim Oanh, there is also Head of Advisory Board People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien, along with judges People's Artist Nguyen Hai, People's Artist Trung Hieu, People's Artist Tran Nhuong, Meritorious Artist Tien Quang, Miss Vu Thi Hoa, Miss Nguyen Thi Thua, Miss Nguyen Thi Huyen, Miss Sao Mai and actress Thanh Huong.
Regarding the specific criteria for selecting Miss Culture Vietnam, People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien said that beauty contests often have their own criteria and with Miss Culture Vietnam, the focus is on cultural factors. After the domestic contest, excellent contestants will participate in the international arena. Vietnamese culture is extremely diverse and this is an opportunity to introduce and promote that beauty to friends around the world. Through a beauty contest, we can spread a deeper meaning, which is the value of national culture.
