Miss Bui Quynh Hoa speaks out after her accuser is prosecuted

On September 12, a personal Facebook account named "Le Huong Ly" continuously posted fabricated information and slandered Miss Bui Quynh Hoa. This person also used offensive and vulgar language to defame her image and insult her honor and dignity.

Faced with the incident, Bui Quynh Hoa decided to seek legal intervention. Together with her lawyer, she sent a complaint to the Hanoi City Police Department, along with all relevant documents and evidence.

After the investigation process, on September 18, the Hanoi Police Department officially issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute the person who spread the false information according to Clause 2, Article 156 of the Penal Code. It is known that the person who spread the information was identified as Le Huong Ly, born in 1996.

Faced with this development, Bui Quynh Hoa publicly shared her opinion on the evening of September 18. Bui Quynh Hoa said that instead of speaking out immediately after the incident, she chose to work with the authorities to protect herself and her family members. "Hoa will go to the end of the incident to regain her honor," Miss Bui Quynh Hoa affirmed.

At the same time, Bui Quynh Hoa also sent a call to electronic information sites, Facebook accounts, TikTok, YouTube... to remove articles, images, and videos related to the incident. She emphasized that sharing fabricated, unverified information not only causes public confusion but can also violate the law and lead to criminal liability.

“In the past few days, false information has turned Hoa’s personal life upside down, seriously affecting her reputation and image. Hoa apologizes to the audience, partners, and fans for having to worry and be confused by these false rumors. At the same time, she sincerely thanks everyone who still believes in and accompanies Hoa,” she said.

Previously, a Facebook account named Le Huong Ly continuously posted articles aimed directly at Bui Quynh Hoa.

This person declared that he would release Bui Quynh Hoa's sensitive photos and clips if the beauty queen did not call him back. This account also threatened that if the Miss Universe Vietnam organizing committee did not strip Bui Quynh Hoa of her crown, he would file a complaint.
