Chinese man trapped in elevator rescued

At around 9:20 a.m. on April 19, the command center of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police received information that a person was trapped in an elevator of Diamond Dream Company Limited (Hoang Du Khuong Street, Ward 12, District 10).

Rescue team approached the scene.

The Fire Prevention and Fighting Team of District 10, led by Lieutenant Colonel Van Cong Thanh, sent 3 specialized vehicles and 20 officers and soldiers to the scene to handle the incident and rescue people. At this time, the Chinese man trapped inside panicked and banged on the elevator wall, calling for help. Lieutenant Colonel Thanh deployed a hydraulic press to break the elevator door while asking and reassuring the victim trapped inside.

The man was brought out safely.
