In the province, there are currently 15 enterprises operating in the postal and freight forwarding sector with hundreds of service points and a wide network covering communes, wards and towns in the area. With an increasingly diverse market, people benefit and have many choices when they need to deliver goods.
In fact, along with the delivery service through the post office system, fixed transaction points, e-commerce activities, online shopping in the province have strongly developed, leading to the development of delivery services at fixed addresses. Therefore, in order not to fall behind, express delivery businesses must always renew themselves, invest in factories and technology to catch up with the general trend.
According to the leader of Viettel Post Vinh Phuc Branch (Viettel Post Vinh Phuc), in the face of fierce competition from businesses operating in the same field, in order to stand firm in the express delivery market, each unit must find a new direction with its own types of services.
The most important thing is to deliver goods safely and quickly to customers. In addition, it is necessary to expand utilities such as online sales support programs, free advertising through Viettelpost's App applications; receive and return goods at many different times and places; deploy automatic division and selection applications connecting to all provinces and cities, helping customers manage orders and the journey of goods; increase service capacity on peak days.
Currently, Viettel Post Vinh Phuc has hundreds of post offices and delivery points distributed throughout the province to meet the express delivery needs of the people.
Although born after traditional units, currently many express delivery units in the province such as GHN Express, J&T Express... always keep up with the trend and demand for delivering online shopping items of people.
Taking advantage of information technology, all units create applications on smartphones, helping customers to create their own bills of lading, and even monitor the order's itinerary. When using this service, both the sender and the buyer can monitor the movement of goods and update the exact arrival time.
Some units also encourage customers to rate and rate on the application to create a delivery reputation with fast, quality and safe criteria, contributing to attracting customers to use their services.
In addition, the units also develop the ship cod service, which is a payment service upon receipt of goods. With this type, the delivery staff will receive the money on behalf of the seller and then transfer it to the seller after the transaction is successful. In particular, the sender only has to pay the fee once in case the goods are returned.
The growing e-commerce activities create a boom in the express delivery market, which helps consumers benefit more and more by saving costs and shopping time.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, Tich Son ward (Vinh Yen) said: "Now, customers only need to register an account on the App with their personal phone number, users can buy and sell, track orders according to the itinerary, the status of goods during transportation, and the collected money is also transferred to the sender's account.
Due to the nature of my work, I often send goods to relatives through express post offices near my home. Sending goods through these units is very reassuring because the goods are guaranteed to be safe, the shipping rates are reasonable and the shipping time is fast."
The boom of the express delivery market not only brings convenience to people's transactions but also brings jobs and stable income to a large number of workers in the province today.
Mr. NV Chung, Lien Bao Ward (Vinh Yen), a delivery staff of GHN Express Vinh Yen Post Office, said: The unit's shipper recruitment mechanism is very open, the application only requires a citizen ID card and a certificate of residence. Applicants will be interviewed and assigned to work on the same day with the condition that they must take care of their own transportation and smartphone.
Although this job is hard because you have to travel all day on the road, the income is quite good, depending on the number of orders that the shipper successfully delivers. On average, a shipper will deliver 100 orders per day, each order will receive from 2 - 7 thousand VND/order. If lucky enough to have many customers in apartment buildings or densely populated areas, the shipper will save on costs and delivery time. For experienced and hard-working delivery people, the income can reach 15 - 20 million VND/month.
Express delivery is the current market trend, so in order to develop, units operating in this field must continuously invest to optimize delivery stages, speed up order processing. At the same time, continuously update new information technology, actively cooperate with manufacturing and product supply enterprises for mutual benefit, because the potential of this market is still very large.
