On the afternoon of September 18, the Departmentof Education and Training of Da Nang City issued a notice for students to stay home from school because the tropical depression is likely to strengthen into a storm, causing heavy rain.

Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training requested heads of units and schools to notify preschool children, students, and trainees across the city to stay home from school on the afternoon of September 18 and all day on September 19. Private universities will proactively decide on students' attendance based on the actual situation.

At the same time, boarding schools should contact parents of preschool children and students about pick-up times, ensuring that preschool children and students are well managed and cared for at school when parents cannot come to pick them up.
