Da Nang: Timely control of tanker fire near gas station

On the afternoon of October 11, a large fire broke out near a gas station on Le Van Hien Street (Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang City). The Da Nang City Fire Department has now controlled the fire.

Da Nang City Fire Prevention and Fighting Force is actively putting out the fire.

According to initial information, the fire broke out at around 5:30 p.m. the same day at the parking lot behind Petrolimex gas station No. 9 on Le Van Hien Street.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police (Da Nang City Police) quickly arrived at the scene to carry out firefighting operations. At the scene, the fire engulfed two oil tankers and a container containing oil drums, with smoke rising high.

At the scene, the oil tanker was on fire.

Authorities mobilized dozens of officers, soldiers and many specialized vehicles and equipment to the scene and used fire extinguishing powder to put out the fire.

Up to now, the fire has been basically controlled, and authorities are still actively trying to completely extinguish the fire.
