Da Nang discovered 1,900 smuggled toy products

DNO - On September 12, the Market Management Department of Da Nang City announced that Market Management Team No. 2 had just coordinated with the Economic Security Department (Da Nang City Police) to inspect, detect and temporarily detain more than 1,900 smuggled children's toys.

Accordingly, the forces conducted a surprise inspection of a children's toy business in Chinh Gian ward, Thanh Khe district.

The inspection team discovered that the store was selling more than 1,900 units of children's toys of all kinds, manufactured abroad, without invoices or documents proving the legality of the goods, and without the required conformity certification stamps. The total value of the goods was more than 101 million VND.

The inspection team drew up a record of administrative violations, temporarily detained all smuggled goods, completed the file and issued a decision to impose administrative penalties with a total fine of 46.75 million VND.
