Previously, on May 7, the inspection team of Ngu Hanh Son district worked with the owner of the accommodation facility and identified the following violations: Sea Sand Hotel 1 violated the act of not ensuring the legal rights and interests according to the contract signed with tourists, specifically: The facility made a receipt and agreed with tourist Tran Thi Thuy Dung to register to stay in room 601 from May 1 to May 13, however, the facility did not hand over the correct room as agreed.
Sea Sand Hotel 1 violated regulations on minimum conditions for technical facilities and tourist accommodation services, specifically: Not changing mattress covers or mats or blankets or pillow covers when there are new guests.
On May 6, tourist Tran Thi Thuy Dung posted on social media accusing Sea Sand Hotel 1 of being "fraudulent, irresponsible, dirty and intimidating to guests". Accordingly, tourist Dung said that from April 5 to April 22, this tourist stayed at the above hotel. Before leaving, the female tourist booked a room from May 1 to May 13 and paid in full.
On May 1, when the tourist returned, the hotel informed her that the room was occupied and asked her to choose another room. When the staff showed her the two rooms, the tourist found the room "dirty" and refused. After that, the female tourist agreed to stay in the room arranged by the hotel. However, despite the guest's repeated requests for cleaning, the hotel did not arrange for staff to clean the room, leaving the room like a "battlefield".
