According to the arrangement of the Departmentof Education and Training, 77 students of the school were arranged to take the exam at Doan Ket High School located right in the center of the district. To support students who are far from home to take the exam conveniently, the school coordinated with the school's parents' representative board to rent a car to take the students to the center of the district to take the exam. The students were arranged to stay at the dormitory of Tan Phu - Dinh Quan Inter-district Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities for 3 days of the exam (from June 25 to 27).
Vice Principal of Dak Lua Secondary and High School Nguyen Van Luong said that 77 candidates of the school had gathered at the school to get on the bus to Tan Phu district center to take the exam from noon on June 25. By early afternoon, the students had arrived at the exam site to complete all the exam procedures in accordance with regulations. Accompanying the students were teachers in the school board, homeroom teachers and some parents. During the exam days at the district center, teachers will be responsible for encouraging the students to take the exam, while parents will be the ones serving food and drinks.
Mr. Nguyen Van Luong added that last year, 100% of the school's 12th graders passed the high school graduation exam, of which about 60% passed the university and college entrance exams. This year is the first time the high school graduation exam has been held under the new 2018 General Education Program. Despite some concerns, the school's 12th graders have shown their determination. Throughout the second semester, the school's teachers volunteered to review the exam for free for students in the afternoon. When the 2024-2025 school year ends at the end of May, the teachers will continue to stay at school and in class to review for students for another 20 days to help them feel secure and confident in taking the graduation exam.
Pham Thi Phuong, a candidate from Dak Lua Secondary and High School, shared: “I am very grateful to the teachers who have accompanied us during the past 12th grade year, especially in this high school graduation exam. The companionship of teachers and parents in the graduation exam journey will be a huge motivation and beautiful memory in our student life.”
