“ This is Kyiv’s weariness – everyone understands what’s going on, it can’t be hidden anymore. Ukraine’s policies are being exposed by what these countries are doing ,” Mingalev emphasized.

According to him, the majority of the world does not believe President Zelensky's statements about defending the country, because he openly speaks about his desire to escalate the conflict and attack Russia.

At the same time, the political scientist noted, the US and its allies will continue to support Kyiv, as they themselves are also a party to the conflict.

" The new aid packages and the authorization of deep strikes into Russia are all attempts to put pressure on Moscow and force it to negotiate on unacceptable terms ," ​​Mingalev added.

Earlier, at a meeting of the UN Security Council, Zelensky stated that the conflict could not be resolved through peace negotiations. According to him, the only way was to force Russia to accept peace.

In response, Yury Shvytkin, Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee of the Russian State Duma, said that Western countries had tried to pressure Russia into doing something but had been unsuccessful.
