After being crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023 , Miss Ý Nhi has repeatedly caused controversy due to her immature and inappropriate statements. She was the subject of an anti-fan group with more than 600,000 members, some of whom even demanded that Ý Nhi be stripped of her crown.

On the morning of August 12, information that Ý Nhi and her family wanted to end the noise by returning the crown was spread on social networks. At noon the same day, Miss Ý Nhi's representative officially responded to the above incident. Specifically, Miss Ý Nhi's media manager denied the information that the beauty wanted to return the crown. Her family has not shared this issue with the Organizing Committee.

The management unit said that Miss Ý Nhi is in the process of studying and improving herself. Currently, she has not made any statements. The recent controversies are old documents that have been dug up by the online community.
