Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress of Ha Nam Province 2025

Kinhtedothi - On March 23, the Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union organized the 11th Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress in 2025 to honor children with outstanding achievements in studying, training and implementing the emulation movement to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings.

Attending the congress were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Lua; Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee Organization Committee Dang Dinh Thoang; Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command Trinh Hong Phong; Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Xuan Duong; representatives of the Central Youth Union, Central Council of Young Pioneers; leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors of the province, and 120 delegates of Uncle Ho's Good Children representing more than 140,000 children in the whole province.

In the period of 2020-2025, the work of the Young Pioneers and the Ha Nam children's movement achieved many outstanding results. In particular, the movement "Ha Nam children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" was widely deployed in all teams with many creative and effective forms. Historical and traditional education activities such as visiting red addresses, talking about traditions, visiting policy families, and implementing youth projects have attracted a large number of children to participate.

The movements "Speaking good words, doing good deeds", "Progressing together", "Small plans", "1,000 VND bicycles", "Study corners for children", "Raising piggy banks" have contributed to educating life skills and the spirit of mutual love for children. In the past 5 years, the whole province has given over 3,650 bicycles, 370 study corners and thousands of valuable gifts to students in difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the Congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Lua acknowledged and commended the achievements of children in the whole province, and at the same time requested that the Youth Union and Young Pioneers at all levels continue to care for, educate and nurture the young generation, organize many rich and practical activities, contributing to forming a generation of children who are good-natured, good at studying, and responsible for themselves, their families and society.

On this occasion, the Provincial Council of Young Pioneers honored 120 provincial-level Good Children of Uncle Ho and selected 7 outstanding team members to attend the 10th National Congress of Good Children of Uncle Ho in 2025.

Within the framework of the Congress, on March 22, the delegation of Uncle Ho's Good Children of Ha Nam province offered incense, flowers, and reported their achievements at President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; visited the Vietnam Military Museum and had an exchange with the delegation of Uncle Ho's Good Children of Hanoi city.
