On the morning of February 9, the Vietnam Folk Arts Association of the province held a Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term. Attending the congress were Professor, Dr. Le Hong Ly, Chairman of the Vietnam Folk Arts Association; Comrade Pham Van Nghiem, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Vietnamese Folklore Association of Thai Binh province has a total of 6 members, with professional qualifications: 2 PhDs, 2 Masters, 2 Bachelors. In recent years, the Association has actively collected and researched local folklore, contributing to affirming the unique value of the land and people of Thai Binh and demonstrating its indispensable role and position in preserving and promoting local cultural identity, contributing to the diversity and richness of national cultural identity. In the 2020-2025 term, the Association has coordinated to complete the following books and book series: "Thai Binh Province's Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage", "Thai Binh Dictionary" (2 volumes, each volume over 1,000 pages), "Thai Binh Gazetteer"; developed an outline to write about village culture; completed the manuscript "Ancient and modern literary authors in Thai Binh"... The Association's members have actively researched and advised on the establishment of a profile of Cheo art, cultural celebrity Le Quy Don; carried out the scientific research topic "Collecting, researching, preserving and promoting the value of Han Nom heritage at 2 special national relics of Thai Binh province"; wrote stele texts introducing temple and pagoda relics; research articles, topics on Thai Binh localeducational materials for grades 8 and 9...

Comrade Pham Van Nghiem, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the congress.

Speaking at the congress, Comrade Pham Van Nghiem, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, hoped that the members of the Association would promote their enthusiasm and achievements in researching and collecting folk literature and arts; pay attention to investing in research on famous cultural figures of Thai Binh; continue to unite and unify in performing their tasks. The Association needs to encourage the active participation of collaborators, create resources for developing members, thereby contributing to promoting the strength of traditional culture in contemporary society.
