Hung Ha Electricity conducts grid incident handling drills

In order to proactively respond to situations that may occur during the rainy and stormy season in 2025, Hung Ha Power Company organized drills on natural disaster prevention and control, search and rescue; handling incidents of power grids, telecommunications systems, information technology and ensuring labor safety.

Nearly 100 officers and employees participated in the drill with hypothetical situations such as: Hung Ha district experienced heavy rain with thunderstorms, strong lightning causing broken wires, broken porcelain, and widespread power outages; broken fiber optic cables causing interruptions in the information technology system serving production and business; power outages in some residential areas. In addition, there were hot weather situations causing some transformer stations to be overloaded and needing urgent replacement, and workers were involved in traffic accidents and needed timely first aid. As soon as the incident occurred, Hung Ha Power Company urgently mobilized all human resources, vehicles, and materials on site, organized command, conducted inspections, isolated areas, and quickly handled the consequences, ensuring absolute safety for people and equipment.

Through the drill, the unit improved its ability to handle power grid, electrical equipment, and telecommunications equipment incidents; promptly repaired damage, ensured safe and continuous power supply during the rainy and stormy season, effectively serving the tasks of socio- economic development and people's lives.
