Attending the Congress were comrades: Ngo Thanh Danh, National Assembly Delegate of Lam Dong Province, Former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Nong Province; Bui Huy Thanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; together with leaders of departments, branches; leaders of the Party Committees of wards and more than 130 official delegates representing more than 800 party members of the entire Party Committee.
This is a congress of special importance, the first congress since Nam Gia Nghia ward was established on the basis of merging 3 administrative units: Nghia Tan ward, Nghia Phu ward and Dak R'Moan commune.
At the congress, delegates focused on discussing and approving documents submitted to the congress, including: Political report, review report of the provisional Party Executive Committee of the ward; discussed and contributed opinions to the Draft Documents of the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Congress of the Party.
According to the report, Nam Gia Nghia ward has a natural area of 80.6 km² with a population of 24,719 people. After its establishment, the ward Party Committee consisted of 16 grassroots Party cells and 22 affiliated Party cells with 838 Party members.
During the past term, the local socio-economic situation has achieved many positive results. The total value of the ward's products in the period of 2021 - 2025 is estimated at more than 9,723 billion VND; the average growth rate reached 7.07%/year.
The economic structure continues to shift in a positive direction: Industry - construction accounts for 44.97%, trade - services accounts for 33.98%, agriculture - forestry - fishery accounts for 21.05%.
The education sector has received investment attention, school facilities are increasingly improved. People's health care has achieved many positive results. The movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life continues to be promoted. Cultural and sports activities and the preservation of ethnic minority cultural heritage have received attention.
National target programs have been effectively implemented, especially the sustainable poverty reduction program. By 2025, the poverty rate in the whole ward will decrease to 0.26%. Social security work has been fully implemented and targeted to the right people.
The work of promoting education and supporting loans through the Social Policy Bank has been promoted with more than 1,400 borrowers, with a total outstanding loan balance of nearly 93 billion VND.
Digital transformation is implemented synchronously throughout the ward. 100% of civil servants have official email accounts; over 95% of documents use digital signatures; the majority of business households have used non-cash payment methods. Community digital technology groups support people in electronic transactions and administrative procedures.
Party building work is given comprehensive attention. Party development work is given attention, with 66 new party members admitted. The Party Committee currently has 38 grassroots party organizations including 16 grassroots party cells and 22 affiliated party cells with nearly 840 party members.
The activities of the People's Council and People's Committee of the ward continue to be innovated, improving the efficiency of management and administrative reform. The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have promoted their role in supervision, social criticism, and participation in Party and government building.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Ward Party Committee has determined the general goal: Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; effectively exploiting resources for socio-economic development; maintaining national defense and security; building Nam Gia Nghia ward to be rich, beautiful, civilized, modern and affectionate.
Some specific targets by 2030 include: Average economic growth rate of 10%/year or more; average income per capita increases by over 17%; poverty rate below 0.1%; over 97% of families achieving cultural title; 100% of households using clean water; 100% of residential groups and villages meeting the "Cultural Residential Area" standard; maintaining the rate of 100% of schools meeting national standards; over 95% of people participating in health insurance; and 100% of agencies and units meeting cultural standards...
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Bui Huy Thanh, Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions acknowledged and commended the comprehensive achievements that the Party Committee and People of Nam Gia Nghia Ward have achieved in the past term.
Comrade Bui Huy Thanh highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity, unity and continuous efforts of the Party committees, authorities and people of the three localities before the merger; acknowledged the consensus and effective coordination throughout the process of preparing and implementing the merger of administrative units, transferring and deploying tasks according to the new organizational model.
Comrade Bui Huy Thanh emphasized that, in addition to the advantages, the establishment of the Nam Gia Nghia Ward Party Committee poses many challenges in the coming period. With the spirit of "running and lining up at the same time", the Ward Party Committee needs to urgently promote the strengths of each locality in the past, while focusing on overcoming the limitations and shortcomings that have been pointed out.
The key task is to perfect the government apparatus in the direction of streamlining, operating effectively, efficiently, being close to the people and serving the people best. Thereby, affirming the role as one of the wards with important contributions to the overall development of the province.
Sharing the new spirit and confidence from the congress, comrade Bui Huy Thanh expressed his belief that the Party Committee, government and people of Nam Gia Nghia ward will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, self-reliance, dynamism, creativity, proactively seize opportunities, overcome difficulties and challenges to successfully implement the Resolution of the Congress, contributing positively to the sustainable development of Lam Dong province.
