The political report at the congress and the discussion opinions focused on assessing that, in the past time, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Military History Museum has thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the resolutions and directives of the superiors; proactively developed plans, closely coordinated with functional agencies inside and outside the Army to research, advise and propose to the Ministry of National Defense and the Head of the General Department of Politics on conservation and museum work in the Army.

Activities of surveying, researching, building collection plans, receiving artifacts and compiling artifact records are focused on, gradually improving the quality of collection. Inventory and preservation work meets the requirements of the task; coordination is carried out to complete the task of documenting and digitizing artifacts. The website is regularly consolidated, specialized pages and sections are upgraded; more than 10,000 news and articles are updated and posted...  

The Party Committee of the Vietnam Military History Museum identified two breakthroughs in the 2025-2030 term. Those are: Focus on leadership and direction to create important breakthroughs in improving the quality and efficiency of welcoming and serving visitors and implementing the tasks of the Vietnam Military History Museum Construction Investment Project Phase 2.

Breakthrough in improving the quality of leadership in implementing the new organizational structure and the quality of building a regular system, complying with discipline and laws; focusing on promoting the application of science and technology, digital transformation, reforming administrative procedures, improving quality, efficiency, and time to handle work.

The delegates proceeded to vote.

Praising and congratulating the achievements and results that the Party Committee of the Vietnam Military History Museum has achieved in the past term, Major General Tran Ngoc Anh requested that in the coming time, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Military History Museum needs to continue to thoroughly lead and disseminate the Party's guidelines, viewpoints, and policies, the State's policies and laws, and military and national defense tasks.

Closely coordinate with agencies and units of the General Department of Politics in performing well the tasks of training and operating the Vietnam Military History Museum; focus on leading the construction of a Museum that is strong in politics, ideology, ethics, organization and staff. Promote compliance with laws and discipline; administrative reform, digital transformation, and application of technology in the process of handling work as well as performing tasks.

The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Military History Museum for the 2025-2030 term and the delegation attending the 20th Congress of the Party Committee of the General Department of Politics made their debut at the congress.
